Friday 2
Sam arrived at ours at 7.40
He told me that he'd had a big argument with his family.
I don't know what to do I am so concerned he may get thrown out
Went to the Bay Horse in Formby (if in doubt hit the pub )
Got home at 11.30
Have had a busy old day, as I have family staying & visiting. It's strange you see no one for weeks then they all arrive like buses! Consequently I have little time to think. So tonight I will leave you with some 1975 fashions that you could easily run up on a sewing machine (I often did but they never turned out quite like it said on the tin... but I wore them anyway!!!)

flapped patch pockets! now why didn't I think of that?
'A sewing machine, a sewing machine - a girls best friend!" tra-la. They don't write them like they used to do ..........
your singing is out of tune daddyp!
Sorry Nursey ........ so long as it isn't out of date ............
Daddy P...My sewing machine IS my best friend as long as I treat her kindly...she makes sure I can make the best frivolous frocks ever....I'm not very good with these sort of patterns as I can never understand the instructions...so I have to make my own and then I make up the instructions as I go along...if only I could remember them...hmmmm
I've heard of your skills - perhaps you could run up something for me?
Nm ~ So many handy hints ;-)
DP~ you're just an old clapped out 'Singer'..........
BT~ I had to buy a new sewing machine last year as my old faithful I got as an 18th birthday present finally gave up on me (I think making the curtains for my lounge was just too much for the old fellow!)
Yep those patterns made little sense to me too at times some where just so complicated
(ok when is the blog coming???)
DP ~ I've got a very hairy scary image in my head now eeeeeeeeeeeeekkkk!!!!
Oh Lord I'm getting bad...I don't remember if I've been here already or not.
It's a hit and run...big game day for us over here!!

No need whatsoever to respond...just wanted you to know that I thought of you!!:):)
Flapped patch pockets, super tunic tops, stylish saddles, all looks a bit complicated ... best I could ever accomplish with Mr. Singer was a wrap-around skirt (with incredibly groovy patterns, of course).
