College at 9.00
Hardly done any work
Me & Fi had our photos taken at Wooolies
Watched Kenny Everett & Fawlty Towers
Phoned Sam
I love him
Washed my hair
I have mentioned before on here Fawlty Towers. What a brilliant comedy in true barking mad English style. The barking mad English humour can be found with Kenny Everett. You either loved him or hated him. For me he made me laugh. I my teen years featured Kenny on the TV. He was born just up the road from me in Liverpool and unfortunately he died from an Aids related illness aged 50 in 1995.
Not a particularly funny Kenny but a great live performance of Rod in the 70s
Truly barking after fabulous Bowie
Kenny as Cupid Stunt
Oh just thought I would mention. I received a plain brown envelope through the post today. Not that surprising as I have bought a few bits off an auction site recently. But this one wasn't from an auction site.........
It contained a present and a cryptic message to the effect 'saw these and thought .. 70s'
I'll give you 3 guesses who sent it and who was the partner in crime?

Have you seen how complicated photo booths have become? You can preview pictures now, adjust brightness and contrast, change backgrounds, etc.
But I loved those photo booth pics you posted. I remember making funny faces in those booths in my youth!
K~ no I haven't seen those ones that let you pose and re adjust. The absolute beauty of a photo booth is the capturing of 'that' moment and waiting in anticipation for the results hoping no one else sees them drop out in the tray, then blowing on them to get them to dry quickly so you can ferret them away lol :-)
In the words of the VW advert... "Nice Legs. Want to show me what they can do?"
Well I could guess ... but that would be cheating ;-)
But I just had a sudden flashback L'Eggs ... remember those? I think they only came in the colour "spice" ... (shudder)
1. Nursemyra
2. Sylvie
3. Paula the Surf Mom
What's the prize and when do I get it?
Never heard of Wooolies - is it a department store that only exists 'up Norff'?
[nice pins BTW]
My mum used to refer to Woolworth's as Woolies ... I always thought it was just a strange Ingridism.
Hi Bill did I wake you. Hope it wasn't too much of a shock :-)
tnb # not heard of that brand but my 'shudder' is American Tan eeewwww
Nobody has that coloured skin in America do they?????
ok ok DP I could a bit trugger happy with my 'o's hee hee
tNb - I was convinced calling it 'Woolies' was worldwide and you have confirmed it that side of the Pond
dam 'trigger' not 'trugger' although that is quite good word :-)
I'm a bit trugger happy myself this morning ...... if only I had a garden.
Cupid Stunt is hilarious
kenny everett is on paramount comedy channel in the evening at the moment, if you can get it. and its all done in the best possible taste.
DP ~ trugger does have an earthy ring to it
Cupid Stunt is a great name though!!
Thanks Annie I must take a look ... I hope you realise you can't go back to work as you are a font of research for me fellow 70steen!!
you pay me the pittance i get paid when i am in said jobs i will research for you for ever.
i think the extra o in wooolies is probably because it is so cold up north. i worked in woolies for many years and i never once spelt it like that. it must be my remedial up bringing.
erm Annie I don't think I could afford your pittance if I could you know I would :-)
Certainly is cold up here today and so wet!!!!
