Ordered P.Wolsey from Broadhursts (a Sociology book I suspect!)
Sam phoned at lunchtime
Got a letter from him
Fi came round
Started to make a blouse
Phoned Sam
The man has still not finished the bathroom

Thursday 3
Made puff pastry
Man finished putting bathroom suite in
Sam phoned
He said it had been snowing
General Election today ..... results tomorrow

Friday 4
Margaret Thatcher = Prime Minister (first and only female Prime minister of the UK and had a good old run from 1979 - 1990)
Sam came up
Went to the Grapes with him, my brother, Stan & Mike
Got home at 11.30
Watched T.V.
Bed at 1.00

I considered talking about Election stuff in 1979 ... and thought 'nah.. boring!'
Instead I figured a quiz would be more in line with 70s.

Question 13 is funny and needs a tad of imagination (remember this was written 30 years ago) lol

70s came out as mostly like an eagle but with a strong butterfly element ... with a tiny hint of koala & dog (strangely accurate!!)

Like the General Election- 'quiz today ... results tomorrow'
