Meal at Que Pasa
(Que Pasa Cantina is situated in the trendy area of Lark Lane in Liverpool. In the 80s I went there a lot and I am amazed it is still there, although it looks different from how I remember it. It had an authentic Mexican feel to it back then, a bit rough and ready but with the most fantastic food... I had my first taste of soured cream, enchiladas. guacamole etc... I was converted instantly.)

I am back on line beautifully now. My old boy PC that has been crawling along for a while now finally died yesterday morning. So yesterday I had to go and buy a lappytop as Teen is mid exams and needs BBC Bitesize for revision (my how times have changed where we had our exercise books which we had completed through the build up to final exams plus the library).
She has had Maths, English and History this week with another English paper tomorrow. Next week is History and Science and then that is it my Teen has left Senior School......

I am grieving for the loss of 'old boy PC' as it has a wealth of scanned, saved info... particularly years of Family History research I have done. I know some is saved on disc, as I had a feeling all was not well but a lot isn't saved on disc.... I need to find a glorious geek to see if it can be rescued

We do have another lappytop which I bought last year which for no reason I or others can fathom will not connect to the net anymore. Anyway I did a swift price check around Manchester on deals available and bought a Compaq HDMI. It is very whizzy (dancing)... but my goodness I have had to dig deep into the memory banks to remember passwords that have been saved automatically for ages !!! Quite a challenge .....

Thankfully dear Compaq has a 5-in-1 card reader too so I can download my photos of the SD card plus others are saved on Flickr too ...

This weekend I liberated the garden umbrella out of the shed... usually it means that the weather will then be rubbish ..... but surprisingly it has been so fabby

.

Stop Press ..... from my cuz CKX.....Stop Press ........

If you receive an email from the Department of Health telling you not to eat tinned pork because of swine flu - ignore it.

It's just spam.
