Oh my God! Isn't that Pauline's Arfur out of Eastenders driving that Allegro?
I remember my best friend buying one in 1977 - chocolate brown. I thought it was SO cool.....

'Remember when Snickers where Marathons' - is this an example of 'solid English'. Some people will be turning in their graves and others won't have a clue what I'm talking about - tee hee

ok ok I forgot the ?

Yes my great great grandfather will be twirling in his grave at the abuse I serve on the English language (it took me a while DP to figure it out lol )
[I imagine he was twirling in his grave when a couple of years ago I and my cuz's lifted his grave stone up, which had toppled over in Camberwell Old Cem, London]

My Great x2 grandfather had a few private schools during the 1800s .. he learned his trade in France and became an educator in 'solid' English ......French was at no extra charge :-)

Oh it's good to see that much hasn't changed.

Can you just imagine DP'S frustration with me? You know we Americans completely destroyed the English language!!

It's good to be back...I have missed everyone so much!!
