From the Jackie Annual 1976.................. for Sylvie

What a sexy photo of David Essex

There is just something so chilling and beautiful about a song sang in French
I love the Champs Elysees too it is a great place to sit, have coffee and watch the world go by. In August, on my way to Madrid, I am stopping off in Paris and hope to be able to do this. Doubt I will have time for the Eiffel Tower though!

The Alcazar is still there but looks a litle different to David's day I imagine

I've always thought the French have an unfair advantage when it comes to accents.
"Can I see yur pisspot pleez?" - see how sexy that is?

ah 'Allo Allo' "Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once" "Ze flashing knobs!"Good moaning!". i was pissing by the door when I heard two shats. You are holding in your hind a smoking goon. You are clearly the guilty potty!" "They have had a direct hot on the pimps!" "The pimps?" "The pimps! The pimps in the pimping station! No water is being pimped through the poops!" "The troon carrying the sissage has been bummed by the RAF. There are little pissers all over the track." "You must get your hands on silk knockers. At least farty, maybe fifty." And: "I am mauving in a ginger fashion becerrs my poloceman's pints are full of dinamote!"

Spain with a sidetrip through Paris. I like your summer travel plans better than mine. I am going to my folks for a family reunion. Might look up a bit in August in Quebec but Paris? Spain? Oh, man.

Oh Diane me and you both ... he was gorgeous plus the added gorgeous accent. Alain Delon, as I have posted on here too, had the very same effect ... sending that je ne sais quoi through your veins .. ooooo pass me the smelling salts :-)

Annie girl Hi :-)
I love Paris and Madrid they are my 2 most favourite cities ( don't fly hence the stop off in Paris)

You know I would love to visit Canada but unless I meet a wealthy man it is unlikely as I couldn't afford the cruise fare.... be sure I will post photos of my travels for you to see.... hey drop off in Paris or Madrid en route and we can grab a coffee :-)

I was given a promo cd recently, on which is a song sung entirely in French. Despite the fact that I understand absolutely NONE of the words, I absolutely love the song. Or, should I say, J'adore!
