fter us with his meat cleaver wavingas we did a runner without paying .. mm maybe not but in the back of my mind there again it could have been??...)
Home 12 ish

When I thought my week couldn't get better (mmmmm David Essex .. swoon) I received this charming e mail this afternoon which reads:

'Congratulations weblogger,

your internet weblog has undergone stringent review from our panel of internationally acclaimed internet weblog experts. After careful deliberation and several large brandies they have concluded that your blog not only exists but should warrant approval from our panel of internationally acclaimed internet weblog experts.'

How absolutely amazed was I? Last week I tentatively submitted my blog to be reviewed (I have never sent the ramblings of a teenager for such scrutiny before) to the World Blog Council.

I popped in to see what the reaction was over the weekend only to find that the 'shop was shut' for the weekend. Oh how I have perspired (or is that 'glowed' being a 'lady'?) over the past 72 hours or so awaiting the result of my application. I really thought I would have a big fat RED reject stamp pressed firmly onto my blog header.. what with the glittery balls, knitting patterns, bell bottoms and Donny (swoon)

But no how wrong could a gal be I got a big GREEN approval stamp yip yip yipeeeeee.

However, I do think that the panellists may have still been recovering from an excess of bratwurst and Jagermeister this Monday morning

No matter I have the certificate in my itty bitty hands without having to use the information that dear Frac found whilst fossicking whilst delivering her secreatrial duties from her sick bed (Frac thanks hun... I won't disclose any of it you sent me ... but my it made fabulous reading, it is truely amazing what you can do with a rolled up newspaper and that slide show.. oh my word... lol)

So to Colonel Reginald Fotherington-Blogworthy II CEO, MD, ARSE; Prof. Wardrobe Gruber Esq. (MA, D.Phil); Frau von Sauertraut (great hair but I think you would look great with the 'Hamill' look); Ms Ashley Tutt and last but by now means least T. Ern (are you doing Earl Grey in the afternoons?).... I thank you from the bottom of my..... bell bottoms

I would urge other bloggers to go and venture forth and submit your blogs to the WBC. You never know when you may need them.........

[I am still not sure that apostrophe should be there ... it is like the teen belonging to a 70 year old rather that the tale of a Seventies teen... but hey what do I know about grammer ?? maybe the WBC can advise?]

Congrats dear sis!

I'm considering making a tidy sum with the folder at eBay. Of course, I'll share the best bits with the fanzine first!
