21st November 1979

Wednesday 21
1 year since Sam started his job
Went to Liverpool
Bought a jewellery box for Mar
Bought some material for a skirt
Sam phoned at 11.00
He has finished jury service
1 fell got 3 years, 1 got 18 months and 1 got 3 months
He asked me to get engaged again!

I am completely exhausted after my first week back at work.. it should get easier as I get back used to the routine and pressure.. maybe? Isn't it amazing how quickly we can get out of the routine.. I reckon this is the reason why many fall of the perch directly after retiring??? Only about 5% in my profession go on to draw a decent pension... however, I fully intend to be in that 5%.... even if it means buying a life support machine with my lump sum ;-)

Anyway on a far lighter note, for the weekend a few personality testers from the Jackie Annual 1976.. it doesn't take long

Apparently I am very conventional, self-centred, practical with an air of knowing I am ok as I am just doodling but a pretty boring person (maybe my teen is right I am a complete geek)

I am lucky number 7

& I am basically down to earth with a business like mind

as Meatloaf said '2 outta 3 ain't bad' ;-)

Hmmm...I am moody, temperamental, restless, impulsive & home-loving & generous. What a mess! LOL!

I'm tall, dark and extremely handsome with a beguiling gentleness, a hefty bank balance and love to invite goddesses onto my yacht ...... oh yes, and I like to strangle kittens who wear knitted stupidities ..... tee hee

the first quiz is a lot of crock - I am NOT conventional, moody, tempermental or boring!

of course I agree with everyting about being a #9

Conventional, open and generous, fine as I am (sorry, stop signs don't look like DP's head...now THAT's a BOX), looked like a channel or hallway more than a couple of matches or matched lines, practical since 5 made me think of those three D cube puzzle pieces, 6 was something to be filled so I'm not boring but I'm creative without being complicated.

I'm a cactus without an arm. Total prick with no flowers, an unforgettable experience for all the women having experienced sensuality in all it's magnificence...while being able to see very clearly that what they knew what they were getting in for; and on to; was the biggest prick they'd ever seen.

Birth month: 4. steady and unchangeable (I've always been a woman's cactus, so that's right too)

Very insightful, if I didn't already know myself.

Can you tell me who I'm going to select for my next wife too?

BTW, Meatloaf is best served under glass. Rocky Horror Picture Show.

ver interesting comments John.... cactus without arms?? lol

mmm the next Mrs C selection, that is a tricky one. I will have to cnsult the 'girls books of knowledge' and matbe a few knitting patterns for clues to that.
Not sure Meatloaf would want to be shoved under a piece of glass and served ... but there again... what ever floats your boat ;-)

Why am I thinking of hedgehogs?

I ruined the flower test by looking at it before I drew anything, but can say that usually I doodle geometric shapes so that must mean I'm a blockhead.

As for the adding up the numbers, I got the number 8, which said I was usually ambitious and usually successful... which is kind of true. I just can't figure out how a blockhead is successful, bu who am I to argue with women's magazine quizzes?

;-)

But seriously now... if anyone wants to know anything about DP or John, they should just ask me. I've been keeping notes for some time now...

I 'ope the 'orror enjoyed McFly - keeping mum up so late! ...... tsk

I dumpster dived in Fracas's garbage and got her feminine hygeine products.

(beat that one, girlygirl)

Dear Frac I wouldn't even begin to argue with the wisdom of a teen magazine lol

mail me the notes ;-)

DP ~ McFly was 'really really great' & Dougie is so cute ... apparently :-)

ooo John if Dear Frac sees your comment she will batter you you know ;-)

What I meant...was that dear, sweet, ladylike Fracas's unused, sweet aromatic Ladyships' essentials were unwarily deposited in the refuse outside her abode.

I felt it only the gentlemanly thing to do to remark as such, in an effort to better allow her the knowledge that someone was looking out for her.

:)

(I'm sorry, sometimes I eat too much sugar before visiting the internet. Please don't think bad of me...it's quite less than the true evil that abides inside me)
