Talked for 1/2 hour
He was pissed off cos of work etc
He'd made a big mistake on calculations (mmm he was working as a quantity surveyor.. maybe B4by could enlighten us what a mistake in calculations means here?)
I have been to my home city today. I stomped around where the Beatles strutted their stuff in the 60s. Mathew Street and the Cavern. The original Cavern is long gone .. but I have had nights out in the reconstruction of the Cavern. Low arched ceilings and loads of ciggy smoke ... I do sort of remember in 1966 seeing the Beatles on a bus top tour around Liverpool though.
Being from Liverpool I have my Mum working with Cilla Black's aunt, my cousin being at school with John Lennon who would come and chat to her whilst she was working in Woolworths on Penny Lane and I so remember waiting for a bus at Penny Lane too.
Back to today. I came across this in Mathew Street .... OMG do they know about me.. a bar named after me ???
I have Bogeey'd on down in this night club a few times (Annie may recall.... lol )
I am thinking of changing my '70s shoe' to this ??
Gosh I love my city :)

I won't allow you to change your shoe and that's that ......... although a little spray deodorant wouldn't go amiss .......
yes i agreed the shoe has to stay. i didn't iron it on tee shirts to have it changed to something else.
by the way i may borrow that pattern i quite like it.
as for the 70's bar, your actions may well have damaged me for life, never again will i look at firemen in the same way. or look for your face when i should of been looking for the back of your head...tee hee

OMG I think my mum must have had that pattern, because I had a jumper for school(sixth form in 1979) in exactly the same colour, snot green!

I know when I took my 11 plus I hoped I would fail (and I did) as the girls grammar school wore green uniforms(not exactly snot green but green all the same) ;-)
