Got up at 9.00 am
Set off for Portsmouth
Got there at 4.30 pm
Phoned Sam on the way down
Got to Cherbourg at 12.00 midnight
Stayed in a guest house

29 years ago I went abroad for the first time and spookily enough it was in the neighbourhood that Sylvie and Kevin now live in........aka the home of??? yes FMB!
I loved every minute of my first time abroad .....so the next couple of weeks will give a teen view of it !!

I reckon my image from yesterday is definitely the '4'... it is some what true I have lots of close friends that know what I am about plus as I have got older I have heeded those words of advice without a quiz telling me that!!
More interestingly(as an aside) .... what are these open sandwiches about ? Nutritious and interesting but without the blurb look like just a few badly drawn pieces of toast

Mine was conclusion 3. I do tend to lose interest quickly but I don't get confused that easily. Well until and unless I am not talking to DP, I don't get confused. he he
i have had open sandwiches 3 times this week. i love the way they can be presented which makes them even more yummy.

I see penguins here, taking over the blog and spiders over at DPs - am I hallucinating? Does your blog have death watch beetle by the way? I hear a strange clicking noise on occasions.....

there are animals and crawling insects everywhere I turn...You go away one minute on holiday and all these strange things happen!
We have never been to La Tranche...shame on us...I blame Kevin of course ;) x
I blame Drowsey Monkey for the animals (she had those cute penguins over at her place ... I s had to have them over here)
But of course DP has to take it that one step further with that .... eeew spider, it better not get in the cupboard!!

i have them at home and take them to work, i put my bread down on a plate and then all my salad stuff on top and then, chicken or whatever i am having on my open sandwich then eat it with a knife and fork. that way it feels more like a meal then a butty.
my mum used to make them when she managed the coffee shop in broadbents.
and did i not warn you about penguins..
Broadbents & Boothroyds were so posh .. I still think I am getting followed around by store detectives when I go to Boothroyds these days
Annie the penguins are so cute it is that darned spider (& you know what I am like with them) that I can't handle over at DPs .......
sorry i meant boothroyds, i get mixed up with them the one on lord street.
