Check out that pattern cover. Who said there weren't openly gay guys back then?
love the diaries :)
OMG! WTF! "Love Is..." cartoons!
I freaking miss those! Gotta go see if I can find some.
(psss...they never wore sweaters, and were always a het couple, dontyaknow :giggle like a schoolgirl:)
I like the way in your diary you have to write down how to divide 80 by 4 - tee hee - still you got the answer right .......
oh david, that hair, those shoulder pads... what were you thinking?
Gosh!...all these knitting pattern pictures are just so gay! ;)
LOVE seeing The Diary! Wish I still had mine....
These are such cute diaries.:) I never maintained diaries myself because I was always scared that someone might read my secrets. Lol. You have written things such as he didn’t sound at all happy, and he didn’t call back. Very sweet 70s.:)
PS: I have something for you on my blog! xo
JC ~ 'Love is' was so cute and all the rage back then. Did you find any on the net? I know I looked a while ago and was very disappointed to not find much
(you snigger like me :-) )
DP~ I just knew you would spot that ... hee hee maths wasn't my strongest subject.... come to think about it what was??? :-)
NM ~ I wonder what colour that ensemble was... it is pretty yuk!! & it is velvet too by the look of it
Olga ~ I so love these knitting patterns they so make me giggle I just wonder how the photographer thought of the poses and why? Maybe he was having a laugh!!
Thank you so much for another prize. I feel so guilty as I have not given any away.... on my to do list make a prize and reciprocate all the lovely wishes :-)
SB ~ I am still amazed that I wrote them... I knew I had done some but not all those though the 70s. I have 2 big brothers .. I am pretty sure they would have peeked at them :-)
..... speaking posh ..... obviously
obviously lol :-)
Of course we wore stack heels!
I did own a pair of brown/cream two tone platforms simialr to those shown in your pic, but as you will read I favoured the simpler chelsea boot!
Teenage ~ would love to read about your simpler chelsea boots but your blog is by invite only... and I don't have your invite??
It was me - not sure what happened there?!
