Back to college = ok
Nothing exciting happened not that it ever does!
Sam phoned this evening
I do miss him
Mar had a moan at me
Put the collar on the blouse I am making
Wrote to Sam
Well we are enjoying a really hot spell over here at the moment...... the down side is the milk bottle legs on show, men in vest t-shirts & shorts (who really shouldn't wear vest t-shirts & shorts) and me thinking in my head 'have you got nobody to tell you that you look a 'bugger' in that' So in honour of the horrors I have witnessed today from 1975
yep saw many legs that pale colour today
I think the yellow suit looks better myself
why didn't they use the same size model drawings? The one in blue is obviously thinner!
like in one of those surveys 'strongly disagree' ... what are those yellow shoes about?
Ok that is a right decision
oh I like that jaunty checked jacket
no holding back on the larger girl in those days
I am sure many men would disagree with 14 & certainly disagree with 15 ... dressy shoes go with absolutely anything lol
16 I may have put on a t-shirt after the thongs that look like cheese wire going through some white Lancashire cheese I have seen recently & as for 17 rofl :-)

hi B4by
even 70s is wearing a skirt ... but what shoes to go....??
the 3 pairs I have worn this week have crippled me
Oh I know!! ... shoe shopping tomorrow :-D
how spooky just reading your post now !!
Flab? Fatties? Wow, I had forgotten how blunt edged the fashion stuff was back then. I shouldn't have though. I was one of those "fatty" don'ts.
I've always thought goddesses looked fab even if they weren't wearing anything - I'm funny like that.
70steen... its really spooky though. i mean, i was talking about topshop mannequins, then u came out with this, sort of notes to them.. then in the comment, you were saying about the crippled toes coz of the shoes, and i had that post... and the most spookiest was, we didnt see each other post when we wrote it. uhhh.... :)
aha, on the other hand.. we think alike! :) happy friday!
It isn't spooky at all - goddesses are always waffling on about clothes and shoes and relationships and chocolate and cats and dogs and cakes and handbags and feelings and curtains and beauty and art and emptying dustbins and stuff - peabrains never waffle.
oh my lord I hardly know where to start with the comments....
I like the jaunty checked jacket too and as for the fat-bottomed babe in fig.7 - I would sell one of my children for a butt like that
fig.9 - huh? one of those models is short waisted? and fig.17 - what's with the faeces running down her legs. she should check into the gimcrack for a continence pad
so you are telling me that after ironing all your trousers last weekend that you have worn skirts....
She's fickle Annie Mouse ..... even I know that........
oh she is going to kill you for saying that DP.
I know she's had a crap week and is feeling a tad grumpy but I have no fear .......... she likes Fridays. Also, I'm hiding .........
well i'll just say now it's been nice knowing you DP.
you should fear for your life. hide well my friend.

Hi Anniegirl~ weren't they so cruel. I have seen a few articles of the era that certainly don't hold back the punches. I didn't have you down as a 70s teen I thought you were much younger? :-)
No DP I never heard you waffle but I do wear ear plugs reading your comments *snigger*
NM~ it's hysterical isn't it .... it is a wonder our generation grew up so well lol :-)

i hope you hung those trousers up or i won't b doing your ironing again.....
well 70's and DP, been back at school 2 weeks now. and now tomorrow back at the second job. so back to working 7 days a week. did i really have major surgery or was it a dream.
How's you coping? apart from losing the ability to only leave one comment - tee hee
70'steen, I turned 13 in December of 1976. I guess that makes me barely a teen of the 70's or the 80's either. Kind of like how I am not a child of the 60's because despite being born then I remember nothing about it of any consequence. I was just too little to be exposed to much. Not really a Boomer or a GenX. What's a girl to do?
Annie girl ~ I was a Jan 75 teen so technically my early posts where a sham as I was not a teenager [shh don't tell any one will you]
I only remember stuff as I have my diaries I would have no idea otherwise :-) have a great weekend
DP, just got in from the second job, do you know what i'm doing ok, surprisingly. mind you the getting up at 4.45 to be in work for 6 is somewhat frightening.
thanks for asking, hope all is well with you too.
