Happy St. Patricks Day everyone

The Irish really know how to celebrate their saints day(unlike us English who whimper out when St. Georges Day appears in fear of being politically correct!! Thank goodness I have some Irish blood in my veins!) ...... the pubs in Manchester will be buzzing ... Mulligan's, O'Sheas etc with pints of Guinness with Shamrock heads ...

It is also my puppy's 2nd Birthday

Happy puppy birthday!

Why does everyone celebrate St Patrick's Day when we have a perfectly good saint of our own? I don't get it....

Diane, the Irish will celebrate any day with a 'y' in it, they are fun people.

Happy Birthday pooch, don't eat all that cake.

70s, just clicked on your 'My Commenters get this widget', and my Spyware Dr. immediately popped up a warning telling me it was a bad site, don't know if he's been overdoing it down at the surgery, but thought i'd point it out.

Diane ~ gave her a Diane & Milo hug ...

Know what you mean .. St. George is a good old saint but we feel inadequate to celebrate him ....as I said we chose to be too PC over this stuff (I will be celebrating St. G's day I don't care what anyone says ;-))

GW ~ Pup had a huge tray of cooked chicken from Sainsburys.. cake is not a good thing for pups (gas and all that!!)

Did I click on your widget?? I do apologise it was an a cursory brush I thought ... mmm your Dr .. did he get his doctorate off the internet for $10s... the only thing that is bad about my blog is the colour and the typos ... oh ok the content too but nothing that a Dr would be alarmed about ...

OK, i'll try again. I want one of those widgets for my messy blog.
BTW, have a holiday in Ireland, you will want to move there, i'm not a travel agent, the west coast, Bantry Bay, the Ring of Kerry, GO THERE!

70steen said...

the West coast does draw me so much .. I am resisting as I know I would want to move there ...

Don't know why DP's avoided it, he would be living there, Kerry is heaven,I will move there tomorrow as soon as I get that lottery win.

Sorry Layla ....... hang on, wasn't Layla a he and now she's a she? .....

HelpXtra said...

Ah, just checked out your photo.
Layla is a King Charles Spaniel.

GW ~ maybe I will include the west coast of Ireland to my 'where to retire to list' along with Spain and France..... now if you win the lottery you must remember who your friends are :-)

70steen said...

DP ~ are you not getting confused with 'Walk on the Wild side'?... Layla had him on his knees

70steen said...

GW ~Layla is indeed a Cavalier King Charles .. daft as a brush, not a vicious bone in her body and she thinks she is a cat.... & so loving :-)

HelpXtra said...

One of my sisters breeds spaniels.
Not the King Charles version, but just as daft...........
