Corset Friday

I have joined in with dear Nurse Myra on a number of T-shirt Fridays but never Corset Friday ..

Came across this photo'age' from an 'age' ago .... when the thought of wearing a corset never crossed my mind

DP ~ I was way younger in them days and could munch away at my hearts content and not put an ounce on ... ahh those heady days....

Blimey! I never looked that good even when I was young and skinny. Ah, bikini days...those were the days :-)

This pic was obviously taken in contravention of the Norvern beach byelaw that states that "flat caps should be worn by bathers at all times".....

Diane you are too kind :)and I am sure you are doing yourself a big injustice ...

It is more of a case of Tankini or pull in, squash down, reinforced sided cossies these days lol x

GW ~ I managed to avoid the Norvern bye-laws by going to Spain ... but looking at the state of my hair a flat cap would have been a good idea :)

I bet you still can wear a bikini sis!

And why did we all wear our watches even when at the beach? The tan lines must've been in fashion. lol.

So, is a 'flat cap' what we call a 'bathing cap' or a 'swim cap'... you know, those rubbery caps swimmers wear?

If not, then what is a flat cap?

Dear Frac
I could wear a bikini I suppose but I fear there maybe a 'beached whale' alert lol

Yes as a youngster a watch mark was the tell tale sign that you had a bit of a tan ... being so pale it was the only way to show folk :)

Flat caps !! Those Souvern folk [i.e. DP and GW] have this thing that we Norverners wear them ... but if it is good enough for Brad it is good enough for me

Ohhhh, I see... I think GW's mention of 'bathers' wearing flatcaps is what threw me off.

LOL.

And sis... the oldest fraccy boy is a medic... shall I keep him on a wee retainer in case John should require medical attention? It seems likely, doesn't it?

I forgot the :giggles: to my last comment... though I suppose it's not nice to giggle at those in the midst of a medical crisis, is it?
