Lucky Pup

What a lucky pup Layla is .....

...... she is about to get a lovely surprise through the post........

A while ago (and apologies for my tardiness!) those lovely people at FuelMyBlog asked for volunteers to test ordering from a pet supply company called 'Nutrecare'.

The company supplies 1000s of leading brands for your cat/dog/horse and/or rabbit and deliver it straight to your door ..... all hassle free. There is everything from food to flea stuff, toys to beds.....

The only hassles I experienced with this were 'what on earth do I order?' , 'Should I get something for Jess (our elderly cat) as well as Layla?' and 'where the heck have I saved the voucher '

I deliberated for ages on this ........ and finally I made my choice but alas Jess has missed out .... she is happy though to just lie in the sunshine and sleep in the dog's basket to wind her up.......

Once I had located my £20 voucher I opened up the site and selected my items
a lovely warm coat for those icy winter walks

and a bottle of 'Pet Head' deorderiser as teen says 'the dog stinks' so now she will smell like 'Asian Pear'

I saved these to my basket and I went through the ordering process which was absolutely 'easy peasy'. It really couldn't have been simpler... I popped in my voucher code which instantly registered and said I had a balance of £2.47.... my selection came to £19.98 so I just had to pay the postage and packaging. I thought the P&P was very reasonable.....
I put in my card details and 'voila' the job was done.......

I have had a good old look around the site and I will certainly use it again in the future ..... it even has details about different dog breeds, information on pet health and suggested dog names ... btw the top name for boys is Max and  Maggie for girlies  ....

So there will be an updated post about the products when I get them next week ... hopefully it won't be too hot and I can persuade Layla to model the trendy jacket :) & to placate Jess I will challenge her to a game of chess,,,,,,I hope she doesn't beat me again!!!

Oooo .... I like the piccy of the doggy and pussy cat together .... I reckon pussy rules the roost ...

King's pawn right a bit .....

Hang on - what on earth is that deformed pawn doing there? Has it escaped from weight watchers?

DP ~ you are not wrong old Jess is definitely the boss of the dog...

Ah yes we seem to have lost a pawn somewhere so have had to use a 'morbidly obese' one from another set.

Just thought I meant to put a link to my Flickr .... whoosh ....

You will never believe this sis, but the blankie (black one with the white paws) in the picture is almost exactly like the blankie I just bought for #1's cat, who is staying with us for awhile (as is #1). I bought two and made her a spiffy kitteh bed. I'll take a pic to show you... it is uncanny how we choose similar things.

And DP... there was never any question that pussy always rules any roost!

GW ~ I am sure that Nutrecare would be horrified by those images of poor puddy cats ....

How on earth do they keep them still long enough, I guess what they don't show is the owners arms in shreds....

The one with lippy and a bikini top on is particularly disturbing lol ;)

My son's dog was named Max. I tried to tell him it was terribly common but would he listen to his mama.....

I'll have to check this Nutrecare lot out - our dog has just destroyed another batch of carefully considered toys...
