Went t0 Woolton to see my Granny and we then went to my Aunties in Halewood. My cousin, her husband and children were there (I am the youngest grandchild of a whole heap of them. Mum is the youngest of 8 children and was an Auntie when she was 2 ... so many of my cousins are in their late 60s/early 70s now...)
Came home and had tea.
Went to my godmothers.
Baby sitted (yes sitted!!) for my brother and his wife while they went out. My niece is 2 months old now (she is now 35!!)...........................(Oh I was paid 50p for my baby siiting service.. hey big spender)

*****************************
I have taken this week off work hoping to catch some late summer rays... I should be so lucky!! It has been warm and sunny but my god it has rained some.....
Stayed at Mums on the coast over the weekend and managed to get down on the beach with the pup a couple of times .... it is great to take in the sea breeze (or should I say gales... thought the pup was going to be lifted off her feet a few times, she wasn't impressed!!)
Yesterday me and Teen and Teens mates all went to the local festival on the park where I normally walk the pup. It was lovely until the bloody rain started again.
There was loads of local stuff going on then there was this guy.... Bruce Airhead. Check out his diary he maybe appearing near you lol.
These guys thought it was hysterical too....
Mangaed to catch these guys too Dr Butler's Hatstand Medicine Band who were great ... also these guys but I have no idea who they are but what a great look and sound
The festival came at a good time for me as I have photo exhibition soon and the theme is 'music'... keep an eye on my Flickr account for some new piccies that may or maynot go into the exhibition

That balloon chap was on the telly - I did done see him! - can't remember what programme though. It's an interesting act but probably only watchable [is that how you spell watchable? - my brain seems to have died ...... again] once - a tad limited perhaps.
Your cousins seem very reasonable ages to me ..........
what a big green ball that man has.... ewww....
I was going to leave a comment, but thought that my biology homework memories might start 'the magic finger of delete' working.
DP ~ yes Teen said she had seen that chappy on TV maybe it was BGT?? Definitely a one hit wonder act but it did amuse me.... [hee hee you are asking ME how you spell summut... rofl]
dear NM ~ his green ball could be an exhibit over at your place lol ;-)
GW thank goodness you ran a wet rag through your ears before posting ...funny when I think of biology at school I think about cutting up a cows eye with a scalpel... strange how the mind works lol
When I think of biology lessons at school, I think of the dreadful smell in the lab. All those festering, half dissected critters and the locust cage. Eugh! I can smell it now just thinking about it.
I dropped biology at the earliest opportunity and stuck with chemistry and physics. Although come to think of it there were some evil odours in the chemistry lab too.....
That big green thing reminds me of something ...... for the life of me I can't remember what.
Did Diane go to a mixed school? .....
If only we could teach that trick to DP... I can think of numerous occasions when it would be beneficial to be able to trap him inside a big green ball.
But... ummm... you have a niece that's 35 and I have a nephew that's 42. I'd like to know just when exactly it is that we became as old as we are?
Diane ~ mmm Chemistry I dropped that at the earliest opportunity... also wondering about DPs Q... if it was mixed then it was obviously the boys in the class making the smell lol ;-)
Dear Knotted Hankie ... my that would be a big green one to deal with ... you would have to be put on a 90 degree wash .....
Dear Frac~ if we could get DP to do the balloon trick it would be gainful employment for him then maybe (and only maybe) he cbut you know what they say about old dogs and new tricks lol
Scary isn't it when your nieces and nephews are so old ... I reckon it (age)crept up on us when we were busy doing life :-D
I have booked the green ball fellow to do an 'inservice' at the office, and promised him DP as the volunteer.
{{We should all have the day off then as it will take him forever to figure out how to get out...}}
